The correct option is y = 3x - 6, (which is option 2).

The slope of the line is calculated by using the formula;

\begin{gathered} m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ m=(0-\lbrack-6\rbrack)/(2-0) \\ m=(0+6)/(2) \\ m=3 \end{gathered}

Given that the slope is 3 (from our calcuation), the line which is written in slope intercept form is

\begin{gathered} y=mx+b \\ y=3x-6 \\ (\text{Note that b is the y-intercept, the point wh}ere\text{ x equals 0, then y equals -6)} \end{gathered}
