Required solution :

Area of the circle :-

We know formula of calculating the area of circle,

  • A = πr²

Here in this formula,

  • Value of π is 22/7
  • r is radius
  • A is area

We have :

  • Radius (r) = 6 cm
  • Area = ?

Putting the values in the formula,

=> A = (22/7) (6)²

=> A = (22/7) × 6 × 6

=> A = 22 × 6 × 6 / 7

=> A = 22 × 36 / 7

=> A = 792 / 7

=> A = 113.14

Therefore, area of the circle is of 113.14 cm².

Circumference of circle :-

We know that formula of calculating the circumference of circle,

  • C = 2πr

Here in this formula,

  • C is circumference
  • Value of π is 22/7
  • r is radius

We have :

  • Radius = 6 cm

Putting the values in the formula,

=> C = 2 × 22/7 × 6

=> C = 44 × 6 / 7

=> C = 264 / 7

=> C = 37.71

Therefore, circumference of circle is of 37.71 cm.

Before doing the question we shall know that , the area and circumference of a circle with radius 'r units' is given by :-

{\boxed{\sf Circumference = 2\pi r \:\:units}}

{\boxed{\sf Area = \pi {r}^2 \:\: sq. \: unit}}

__________________________

Now coming back on the question ;

{: \implies \quad \sf Circumference = 2* (22)/(7)* 6}

{\boxed{ \bf \therefore \quad Circumference = (264)/(7) \: units }}

Also ;

{: \implies \quad \sf Area = (22)/(7) * 6 * 6}

{\boxed{ \bf \therefore \quad Area = (792)/(7) \: sq. \: unit }}

We are done :D
