If we locate the two points given:

Q is the midpoint of the line PQ. Point P is 6 units to the right and 3 units up from point Q. Point R is at the same distance, but opposite direction; this is 6 units to the left and 3 units down from point Q.

We can then locate the point R:

Thus, the coordinates of R are (-7, 0)
