Slope intercept form:

y=mx+b

where:

m= slope

b= y-intercept

For:

y=1

y-intercept = 1

slope = 0 (horizontal line)

So far we have:

y=mx+1

If 2 lines are perpendicular they have the inverse reciprocal slope.(m)

Y=1
