y=-10x^2+7

To get the y-intercept of the parabolic equation above, assume that x = 0. Plug in x = 0 in the equation above.


\begin{gathered} y=-10x^2+7 \\ y=-10(0)^2+7 \\ y=0+7 \\ y=7 \end{gathered}

Hence, the y-intercept of the parabola is at (0, 7).
