A company wants to decrease their energy use by 10%. If their electric bill is currently $2,600 a month, what will there bill be if they are successful? Give your answer accurate to at least the nearest dollar

The current bill is $2600.

10% of the current bill can be calculated as,


(10)/(100)*2600=260

So this much will be decreased if they are successful. Thus, the bill will be,


2600-260=2340

Thus the bill would be $2340
