To find the equation of the line, we use the point-slope formula.

\begin{gathered} y-y_1=m(x-x_1) \\ \end{gathered}

Let's replace the point and the slope.

\begin{gathered} y-(-5)=-3(x-(-2)) \\ y+5=-3x-6 \\ y=-3x-6-5 \\ y=-3x-11 \end{gathered}

Hence, the equation is

y=-3x-11
