We will have the following:

14x^2+3x-15=2x^2-8x\Rightarrow12x^2+11x-15=0
\Rightarrow(4x-3)(3x+5)=0

Then:

\begin{cases}4x-3=0 \\ \\ 3x+5=0\end{cases}\Rightarrow\begin{cases}4x=3 \\ \\ 3x=-5\end{cases}
\Rightarrow\begin{cases}x=(3)/(4) \\ \\ x=-(5)/(3)\end{cases}
