From the given :

y=(1)/(\lvert x\rvert)

The domain is the set of x values the will give the function a define value.

If the value of x is 0, the value of y will be undefined.

Therefore the domain is all real numbers except 0.

Domain : All real numbers, x ≠ 0

The range is the set of y values at a given x values in the domain.

Since the denominator has an absolute sign, the denominator is always positive.

Therefore, the range is all real numbers greater than 0.

Range : All real numbers, x > 0
