To prove if the expression factors into the squared (x+3) we can expand the square

\begin{gathered} (x+3)^2=(x+3)\cdot(x+3) \\ \\ (x+3)\cdot(x+3) \\ x^2+3x+3x+9 \\ x^2+6x+9 \end{gathered}

since the expression is the same we can say that the statement is true.
