The formula for the area of circle is,

A=(\pi)/(4)(d)^2

Determine the area of circle for d = 49 cm.

\begin{gathered} A=(\pi)/(4)\cdot(49) \\ =(22)/(7)\cdot(1)/(4)\cdot49\cdot49 \\ =1886.5 \end{gathered}

So area of circle is 1886.5 cm^2.
