The data shows that prior to 2005 the slamander population was realtively stable at around 40 orgainsms. After the flood in 2004 the following population are a lot lower at only 5 and 7.

The best explaintion would be option C that states that the flood has made the population less stable and the salamanders have not recovered yet. Since the 2015 data is very similair to the 2005 which was right
