There are 7 full, 7 half full, 7 empty tins of paint.

There are 3 people.

To find the amount of paint in each person and the number of tins if they are given the same amount of paint and the same number of tins:

The diagram is,

So, each per will receive 3 and a half amounts of paint and 7 tins.

Thus, the answer is,

Amount of paint is,


3.5\text{ tins of paint.}

The number of tins is 7.
