There are 4 consecutive integers that have sum of 266 . Which integers are they?

Answer:

the four consecutive integers are 65 , 66 , 67 and 68 .

Explanation:

you should let the first integer be x

so that would leave the 2nd as x + 1

The 3rd would be x + 2

and the 4rth would be x + 3

so X + X + 1 + X + 2 + X +3 =266

you can combine your like terms:

X+X+X+X= 4x

and 1+2+3=6

then you do simple algebra:

4x= 266-6

266-6= 260

4x=260

divide both sides by 4

260/4 is 65

x = 65

65 is your answer then you go up by 3 numbers.
