Check the graph below, please.

1) To Graph this function, a linear function with a slope of -1 i.e. a decreasing one, we need first to set a table

x | y= -x +17

0 y = -(0) +17 = 17

1 y = -(1) +17 = 16

2 y= -(2) +17 = 15

So let's locate on the graph the points (0, 17), (1,16), and (2,15):

Since the slope is -1 from -x then we can trace a decreasing line passing through:

Y=-x+17 from x=0 to 2-example-1
Y=-x+17 from x=0 to 2-example-2
