In the data below we have that

total people preferred Sauce B is 302

people 40-44 -----> 63 people

In the other survey

total people preferred Sauce B is 400

people 40-44 ------> x

Applying proportion

63/302=x/400

x=(63/302)400

x=83.4

therefore

83 of those 400 would be expected to be age 40-44
