Then, the diagonal of the square is

Diagonal of a square = 24 inches


24=√(2)a


(24)/(√(2))=a


(24)/(√(2))* (√(2))/(√(2))=a


(24√(2))/(2)=a


12√(2)=a

The perimeter of the square.


Perimeter=4a


Perimeter=4(12√(2))


Perimeter=48√(2)

Therefore, the perimeter of the square is
48√(2).
