For financial planner

40% in stock, and 60% in money fund

For banker

100% with 5% , in 0.5 years

Then if N= 5000

Planner yield= N•(4/10)• 7/100 + N(6/10)•(4.5/100)

. = N• (28/1000 + 27/1000)

. = 5000(55/1000)

. = 275

Banker yield= N • (1+ 5/100)^ 2 - N

. = N• (1.05 ) - N

. = 5512.5 - 5000

. = 512.5

Then answer is

Highest yield is Banker's advice
