-3x+4y=12

slope intercept

slope intercept is one of the names for

y = mx + b

so

-3x+4y=12

you have to isolate y

divide by 4

-3/4 x + y = 3

isolate y

y = 3/4x + 3

you can graph to check, they are the same line, so it is correct
