We have to associate each tile with its probability of occurrence.

The first tile is "the probability of getting a six when a six sided dice is rolled".

As all the numbers have the same probability (1/6) and six is only one of them, the probaiblity is 1/6.

The second tile states: "the probability of randomly picking a vanilla-scented candle from a set of 3 vanilla-scented candles, 8 rose-scented candles and 10 lavender-scented candles".

This probability will be equal to the number of vanilla-scented candles divided by the total number of candles, so the probability is:

P(V)=(V)/(V+R+L)=(3)/(3+8+10)=(3)/(21)=(1)/(7)

The third tile is "the probability of selecting a girl named Maria ... from a class of 32 studentes where 4 have the name Maria".

This probability is equal to the number of success outcomes (4, as the number of students named Maria) divided by the number of possible outcomes (32, as the number of total students to choose from).

Then, the probability is:

P(M)=(M)/(N)=(4)/(32)=(1)/(8)

The fourth
