Solution:

Given;

d=(r-c)t

Also;

d=6,r=6,t=2

Substitute the values in the formula, we have;

6=(6-c)2

Divide both sides by 2;

\begin{gathered} (6)/(2)=((6-c)2)/(2) \\ \\ 3=6-c \end{gathered}

Collect like terms;

\begin{gathered} c=6-3 \\ \\ c=3 \end{gathered}

ANSWER: c=3
