Given: Number of students who went to movies, N=40.

Perecentage of students who went to movies, R=25%.

We have to find the total number of students T in the science class.

\begin{gathered} R=\frac{Number}{\text{Total}}*100 \\ R=(N)/(T)*100 \\ T=(N)/(R)*100 \\ T=(40)/(25)*100=160 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the total number of students in the science class is 160.
