Bianca uses point p to represent the sum of 2.6 + (-1.4). 2.6 + (-1.4)=p

we know that

2.6+(-1.4)=2.6-1.4=1.2

therefore

In a number line the point P must be equal to +1.2

so

1.2 units at right of the zero number

Part 2

i will assume that

the question is find out the distance between -1.4 and 2.6

so

the distance is

2.6-(-1.4)=2.6+1.4=4.00

therefore

the reasoning Of Bianca is incorrect

and point P is 4.00
