We will first obtain the perimeter of the trapezium:

Thus, we have:

$\begin{gathered} P=7+8+6+9+8 \\ P=38\operatorname{cm} \end{gathered}$

Hence, the surface area of the figure is:

$\begin{gathered} S\mathrm{}A=(38*6)+2*\mleft\lbrace(1)/(2)(14+8\mright)7\} \\ S\mathrm{}A=228+7(14+8) \\ S\mathrm{}A=228+784 \\ SA=1012\operatorname{cm}^2 \end{gathered}$
