Miles: independent variable

the fixed value for the first case $45

the fixed value for the second case is $0

the slopes are the variable changes

slope case 1: 0.40

slope case 2: 0.75

write the equations in slope y-intercept form

first case:

C= 0.40x + 45

Second case

C= 0.75x
