there are 64 hamburgers and 52 hot dogs at the picnic. what is the ratio of number of hamburgers to the number of hot dogs? and what is the ratio of the number of hamburgers to the number of lunch items?

any ratios can be in the form of a/b they are also denoted as a:b

here a is hamburgers =64

b is hot dogs =52

so it can be expressed as 64:52

they can simplified as

32:26

again,

16:13

so the final ratio will be 16:13
