The scale factor can be obtained by ratio of sides lengths of new figure to the corresponding side of old figure.

From the graph it can be observed that measure of one side of triangle ACD is,

CD = 2 units

The measure of side C'D' of triangle A'C'D' is C'D' = 6.

The scale factor is,

\begin{gathered} s=(C^(\prime)D^(\prime))/(CD) \\ =(6)/(2) \\ =3 \end{gathered}

So scale factor is 3.
