soo where's the diagram?

assuming that the length of the hypotenuse is not given which should be the case

using Pythagoras' theorem

we can find the length of hypotenuse

a² + b² = c²

( In case you dont know the theorem; the theorem states that the sum of the squares of the length of the two sides adjacent to the right angle of a right angled triangle is equal to the square of the length of the hypotenuse )

( "a" and "b" are the 2 sides adjacent to the right angle

and hypotenuse (c) is the side opposite to the right angle that also is the longest side )

now coming back to the question

we first find the hypotenuse length by plugging in the values to

a² + b² = c²

5² + 12² = c²

25 + 144 = c²

169 = c²

√169 = c

c = 13 feet

perimeter is the sum of all sides of a given shape

perimeter = sum of the three sides if the triangle

= 5 feet + 12 feet + 13 feet

= 30 feet.
