Assume five coins are tossed, and we're trying to figure out how many heads will appear. Let's use the letter H to denote the number of tails that will emerge. Find the values of a random variable called H.

Five coins are tossed

Let H be the number of tails that will emerge.

As a coin has two possible results after being tossed: tails or heads; the varible H can have the next values:

H=0 (None of the coins emerge in tail)

H=1 (One of the coins emerges in tail)

H=2 (Two of the coins emerge in tail)

H=3 (Three of the coins emerge in tail)

H=4 (Four of the coins emerge in tail)

H=5 (All the coins emerge in tail)

Then, H can be 0,1,2,3,4 or 5
