Since both angles lay in the same line, they are supplementary.

This means they add up to 180°

Therefore,

x-1+2x+1=180

Solving for x :

\begin{gathered} x-1+2x+1=180 \\ \rightarrow3x=180\rightarrow x=(180)/(3) \\ \Rightarrow x=60 \end{gathered}

We get that x = 60
