-7-14how do i simplify my answer into a integer

Hello!

Note that we have two negative numbers: -7 and -14.

To simplify it, we can add these numbers, look:


(-7)+(-14)

As both are negative, we'll keep the sign and sum the numbers, look:


(-7)+(-14)=-(7+14)=-21

As -21 is an integer, this is your simplified answer.
