The equation is:


x^2=10

Now to solve the equation for x, we have to take the root square in bout sides of the equation:


\sqrt[]{x^2}=\sqrt[]{10}

the power of 2 is cancel with the root, a the root of 10 have one positive and one negative solution:


x=\pm\sqrt[]{10}
