Dale starts with $550 in the savings account.

Each week he adds $30 into the savings account.

Let W represents the number of weeks and S represents the total amount of savings.

Then we can set up the following equation

S=550+30W

Now let us find out the total amount of savings in the account after 13 weeks.

Substitute W = 13 into the above equation

\begin{gathered} S=550+30W \\ S=550+30(13) \\ S=550+390 \\ S=\$940 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the total amount of money after 13 weeks is $940
