Given data:

The given sequence is 4, 6, 9.

The common ratio of the given sequence is,

\begin{gathered} r=(6)/(4)=(9)/(6) \\ =(3)/(2) \end{gathered}

The expression for the 7th term is,

\begin{gathered} a_7=a(r)^6 \\ =(4)((3)/(2))^6 \\ =(4*729)/(64) \\ =(729)/(16) \end{gathered}

Thus, the 7th term is 729/16.
