than girls, work out how many girls there are.

Answer:

There are 8 girls

Explanation:

We see that right now there are 6 more boys than girls and if there were 2 girls there would be 14 boys meaning there would be 12 more boys than girls if you continue in this pattern you would get-

7:1= 6 more boys 35:5=30 more boys

14:2= 12 more boys 42:6= 36 more boys

21:3=18 more boys 49:7= 42 more boys

28:4= 24 more boys 56:8= 48 more

This shows us that if there are 8 girls in group there are 56 boys meaning there are 48 more boys than girls if the group had 8 girls
