We can solve algebraic expressions by using PEMDAS:

first, solve the terms inside parentheses (P) , then exponents (E), then the multiplications (M), divisions (D) addition (A) and subtraction (S) in that order.

In this case, we haven't any parentheses or exponential functions, then we start by making 2 times 2, which equals 4:

2x2+2÷2=4+2÷2

Now, 2 divided by 2

4+2÷2=4+1

And now, the addition

4+1=5

Then, the answer is 5
