1) Let's rearrange the equation x + 4y = 64 into the slope-intercept form.

x + 4y = 64

4y = 64 - x

y= -x/4 +16

Since the linear coefficient "b" points where the line intercepts the y-axis. Then we can state that in this equation the graph intercepts the y-axis at (0,16).

If we plug into the equation the coordinate point (0,16). We'll find it.
