We are asked to determine the number of atoms of 258 grams of Argon. To do that we need to convert grams to moles by multiplying by the atomic weight of argon, that is:

258g*\frac{1\text{mol}}{39.948g}=6.5mol

Now we can use Avogadro's number to convert to atoms:

6.5mol*(6.022*10^(23)atoms)/(1mol)=38.9*10^(23)atoms
