x -----> the number of cups

so


\begin{gathered} x\ge1\text{ and} \\ x\leq4 \\ 1\leq x\leq4 \\ \\ \end{gathered}

The solution is the interval {1,4}

In a number line the solution is the shaded area at right of x=1 (closed circle) and at left of x=4 (closed circle)
