Given:

The points are ( -2,8) and (-4,-6).

The equation of line in two point form is,

\begin{gathered} (y-y_1)/(y_2-y_1)=(x-x_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ (x_1,y_1)=(-2,8)and(x_2,y_2)=(-4,-6) \\ \frac{y-8_{}}{-6-8_{}}=\frac{x-(-2)_{}}{-4-(-2)_{}} \\ \frac{y-8_{}}{-14_{}}=\frac{x+2_{}}{-2_{}} \\ -2(y-8)=-14(x+2) \\ 2(y-8)=14(x+2) \\ 2y-16=14x+28 \\ 2y=14x+44 \\ y=7x+22 \end{gathered}

The equation of line is y= 7x+22
