Answer;

95 degrees

Explanations:

According to the line geometry given, the line l is parallel to line m. This shows that the angle m<7and m<8 are corresponding angles.

Given the following angles

\begin{gathered} m\angle7=6x+23 \\ m\angle8=8x-1 \end{gathered}

Equate both angles

\begin{gathered} m\angle7=m\angle8 \\ 6x+23=8x-1 \\ 6x-8x=-1-23 \\ -2x=-24 \\ x=12 \end{gathered}

Determine the measure of <8

\begin{gathered} m\angle8=8x-1 \\ m\angle8=8(12)-1 \\ m\angle8=96-1 \\ m\angle8=95 \end{gathered}

Hence the measure of angle 8 is 95 degrees
