If an integer is a perfect square, then the square root of that integer is an integer.

\begin{gathered} \sqrt[]{100}=10 \\ \sqrt[]{289}=17 \\ \sqrt[]{169}=13 \\ \sqrt[]{186}\approx13.64 \end{gathered}

Then, 186 is not a perfect square.
