First, lets draw our rectangle:

So, our perimeter is the sum of all sides lengths, as follows:

\text{Perimeter}=\text{ }(3)/(4)\text{ + }(3)/(4)+(5)/(7)+(5)/(7)\text{ }\rightarrow\text{ Perimeter}=\text{ }(6)/(4)+(10)/(7)=(6*7)/(4*7)+(10*4)/(4*7)

Continuing our calculations:

\text{Perimeter}=\text{ }(42)/(28)\text{ + }(40)/(28)=(82)/(28)\rightarrow\text{Perimeter}=\text{ }(41)/(14)\text{ yard}

So, the perimeter is about 2.93 yards.
