\cos\theta=(Adjacent)/(Hypotenuse)

Where


\begin{gathered} Adjacent=IJ=18\text{ units} \\ Hypotenuse=IK=22\text{ units} \\ \theta=I \end{gathered}

Substitute the values of the variables


\begin{gathered} \cos I=(18)/(22) \\ \cos I=0.82\text{ \lparen nearest hundredth\rparen}^(\:) \end{gathered}

Hence, the answer is 0.82 (nearest hundredth)
