The rule of the volume of the cone is

V=(1)/(3)\pi r^2h

Since the diameter = 6 inches

Since the radius = 1/2 the diameter, then

r = 1/2 x 6 = 3 inches

h = 21 inches

Pi = 3.14

Substitute them in the rule

\begin{gathered} V=(1)/(3)*3.14*(3)^2*21 \\ V=197.82in^3 \end{gathered}

Round it to the whole number

V = 198
