Area of the circle is expressed as;

A\text{ = }\pi r^2

r is the radius of the circle.

Substitute the radius given into the expression above and calculate the area as shown;

\begin{gathered} A\text{ =}\pi(5)^2\text{ A = }\pi(5*5) \\ A\text{ = }\pi(25) \\ A\text{ = 25}\pi \\ A\text{ = 25(3.14)} \\ A\text{ = }78.5m^2 \\ \\ \end{gathered}

You just multiply 25 with pi which is 3.14

Hence the area of the circle she made in the snow is 78.5m^2
