a) The mean is expressed as

sum of terms/number of terms

Mean = (131 + 133 + 145 + 129 + 145 + 134)/6

Mean = 817/6

mean = 136.2

b) To find the median, we would rearrange the terms in ascending order. Then we would find the middle number(s). By rearranging, it becomes

129, 131, 133, 134, 145, 145

The two numbers in the middle are 133 and 134. The median would be the average of both numbers.

Median = (133 + 134)/2 = 133.5
