Simplify


\begin{gathered} h(x)=(x+7)/(x^2-49) \\ \\ h(x)=\frac{x+7}{(x^{}-7)(x+7)}=\frac{1}{(x^{}-7} \end{gathered}

The degree of the numerator =0

The degree of the denominator =1

Since, the degree of the denominator is > the degree of the numerator

The horizontal asymptote is the x-axis

Therefore, The horizontal asymptote is; y = 0
