The midpoint M between the two given points is

M=((x_1+x_2)/(2),(y_1+y_2)/(2))

where

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(-43,17) \\ (x_2,y_2)=(23,-34) \end{gathered}

Then, by substituting these values into M, we get

M=((-43+23)/(2),(17-34)/(2))

Then, the answer is

M=(-10,-8.5)
