The rate of change (ROC) is the speed at which a variable changes over a specific period of time.

First one

A = (4, 144)

B = (8, 288)

\begin{gathered} m=(288-144)/(8-4) \\ m=(144)/(4) \\ m=36 \end{gathered}

Second one

B = (8, 288)

C= (17, 612)

\begin{gathered} m=(612-288)/(17-8) \\ m=(324)/(9) \\ m=36 \end{gathered}

Both rate of changes are equal and the values is 36
